A local software company has been selected as one of the world’s top 10 e-commerce providers of the year.
Grand Rapids-based Envoy, which specializes in business-to-business, or B2B, e-commerce software, was chosen as one of the top e-commerce technologies for companies to adopt in 2017 by Retail CIO Outlook magazine.
Envoy was the lone company in Michigan to be recognized by the publication.
Envoy combines content and commerce in its B2B e-commerce platform. The approach allows footwear, apparel and accessories companies to engage with their wholesale buyers by surfacing key stories, as well as to take advantage of an all-in-one system of commerce tools.
According to the magazine, “Envoy focuses on every piece of the go-to-market process — from forecasting, to sell in, to sell through, to heightening brand loyalty at retail — all aimed at growing wholesale channels for the brand.“
“This is a validation of all the hard work we’ve put into making Envoy the best B2B (e-commerce provider) in the world,” said Jon Faber, CEO, Envoy. “We believe brands need a B2B solution that’s more than a simple order-capture utility, but one with a full set of content and commerce features that allows brands to go to market with a strategy from top to bottom, and it’s great to see that recognized.”
